Message from Founder/CEO
Ravi Kannan has been practicing his profession for more than 30 years and has accumulated significant expertise in the logistics industry especially setting up companies from a startup stage to taking it to public listed entities in India and Far East.
He has led and managed more than 150 projects to streamline and improve logistics operations and is a pioneer in the application of new distribution technologies and applied information systems.
As a former CEO and Managing Director, I played a pivotal role in establishing two of the largest cold chain companies in India: Snowman Logistics Ltd (Listed in Stock Exchange) and Coldman Logistics Ltd.
Within just seven years, we set up more than 100 state-of-the-art temperature-controlled warehouses, while also designing complex supply chain solutions for several marquee retail brands.
Additionally, I built the Dry Warehousing and Multi Modal Division for Jeena & Company, a renowned hundred-year-old group, where I successfully scaled operations from zero to two lakh square feet in just 18 months for leading FMCG brands.
Another notable achievement was bringing Shoprite Hyper, a billion-dollar group from South Africa, to India, where I assisted in establishing their first retail hypermarket.
My experience also includes working with Hyundai Merchant Marine (Parekh Group), where I was responsible for setting up their IT operations and warehousing in India.
I also had the opportunity to establish the first rice sorting mills for Tanna Exporters Ltd, a top-tier trading house, and launched Lotto Shoes and Sports Clothing in India by setting up a state-of-the-art factory in Gujarat.
